Howdy, I'm Phil.
I used to appear as a regular copywriter for regular things.
Made many mistakes, was on the grind 24/7, and burned out three times.
And now, I take DTC businesses from "regular" to "mission-critical" in the eyes of customers.
My Story
I first heard about copywriting in 2022, when I was addicted to video games and TikTok.
Having heard about this job, I didn't put much work into it as I didn't know I loved it yet.
For me, I was unhappy with where I was in life. Partly because I was studying something I didn't have much passion for.
Life slapped me a couple of times, and I finally figured out what I wanted to focus on. It was like discovering a new continent, and it made me really happy.
In 2024, I put my all into copywriting. I stopped with my technology addiction and went to work.
Annoyed a bunch of business owners with my cold emails (sorry if they're reading this lol), discovered who I wanted to learn copy from, and figured out copywriting is the job I was looking for all along.
Got really good at copywriting, bought a couple of courses, launched my first FB campaign for a company (we got 24,6% CTR) and I celebrated.
Created my website, started pumping out content marketing, and regularly networked.
I figured out I was a big fan of inbound marketing. So I said screw cold outreach and put my focus on creating my online presence. My clients find me thanks to my website, blogs and social media.
I focused on standing out from other copywriters. It worked.
Now I help DTC businesses implement the same type of "stand-out" marketing so they dominate their industry.
